The Croatian midfielder stated that he has a feeling that he is considered to be an important part of the Spanish champions and also hailed the fans sitting at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Spanish champions recently faced Manchester City in the Champions League and managed to win the game 3-2 after a remarkable comeback in the second half.
After the win, Modric stated that everything has been going perfect for him, as Los Blancos won the Supercopa de Espana and were also able to beat Manchester City in the Champions League.
While speaking about his time at the Bernabeu, Modric said:
“It is even better than I expected. Everything has been incredible since I arrived. I’m loving every moment.”
After the game against Manchester City, Modric also took out time to praise the Real Madrid fans who, he believes, were incredible throughout the fixture against the Premier League champions.
While speaking about the fans who were there at the Bernabeu when Madrid faced City, Modric said:
“The atmosphere was incredible and when you win like that it’s so much better. I want to thank the fans for their backing and we want them to carry on like that for the rest of the season.”
