Real Madrid are apparently moving in on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857, and it is believed that the Spanish giants will pay an amount of £35 million in order to land the Croatian.
The North London club are currently engaged in negotiations with representatives from Madrid as both clubs attempt to reach an agreement for the Croatian midfielder’s transfer.
It appears as if Tottenham will finally get the right price for their star midfielder, who hasn often been the subject of transfer speculation linking him with a move away from White Hart Lane.
Modric has been previously linked to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Manchester United, but Tottenham were not willing to sell their player to a rival club given his quality.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas has identified Porto’s Joao Moutinho as a like-for-like replacement for Modric, with the player possessing similar characteristics and strengths as the Croatian.
However, it appears as if Tottenham have hit a stumbling block in their pursuit of the Portuguese midfielder. Moutinho is keen on linking up with compatriot Villas-Boas but Porto are apparently refusing to lower their £30 million valuation.
Tottenham are not willing to pay the proposed amount as they value Moutinho at £20 million, but are still hopeful that an agreement with Porto can be reached in the coming weeks.
