Modulation and multiplexation types for DTV standards?

Question

Hey guys, as far as I know, the modulation for DTV standards ( ATSC(american), DVB(european) and ISDB(japanese)) uses modulation QAM, and QPSK

But what about the multiplexation?, as far as I know, the DVB standart uses COFDM, and the others standards???

I believe multiplexing is done at the digital bit stream level.

Multiple program streams are multiplexed into an MPEG Transport stream.
