what is the name of modvat register ? why they call as part1 & part2 ?

    MODVAT is Modified Value Added Tax. There are three registers, each is specific to maintain records of purchases, sales, claims, collections etc., It is very difficult to give the details here, due to paucity of space.

    Hence you log on to www.india.gov.in/business/taxation/modva... and please get the full particulars. You can also get details of CENVAT.
