“Here is the forensic evidence of messages and calls exchanged between Mazhar Majeed and Mohammad Amir… It has the details of 9,000 calls and text messages exchanged in 14 days. Not a single call came to me from Mazhar Majeed, while Mohammad Amir was called four times in a day.”
“I have apologised even at the airport on my return, but on my failure to report. Mazhar Majeed did send me offers and text messages, but I did not reply to any of them,” Butt maintained.
Claiming to have new evidence that took 10 months to surface, Butt says that he will not leave any stone unturned to clear himself from the shameful charge, later announcing that he will appeal against the five year ban in the Swiss court after gaining possession of forensic evidence.
