The ICC spokesman Colin Gibson told the media reporters on Wednesday, that an ICC team is investigating into claims of Daily Star. He confirmed that if the claims are true, it would be clearly a breach of the ban imposed on the
player.
"We are investigating and awaiting the details," Gibson confirmed while talking to media. "If true, it is clearly a breach of the sanction imposed in February.”
“The ban is absolutely worldwide covering all levels and any activities connected with cricket. What might happen next is a hypothetical question at this stage," he added further.
The teenage seamer banned from all-cricket for five years, in February earlier this year after he and his two other teammates, former skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Asif-c1993, were found guilty of conspiring spot-fixing.
The sanction imposed on the trio bars them from participating in a cricket match at any recognized level. If any of the banned players played in even a domestic game during the sentence period would be considered as breach of
ICC ban.
A St Luke's player, Karl Quinn told Daily Star that he was surprised to see the banned player in the ground.
"No one could quite believe it was him," Quinn was quoted as saying by a newspaper. "There was no attempt to disguise who he was, he even posed for a picture with me.”
Quinn, however, revealed that the banned pacer did not stay till the end. Addington captain, Ijaz Raja, however, remained tightlipped when asked over telephone about Amir's participation in the game.
The seamer was sent as an opener during Addington’s innings where he played a startling knock of 60 runs and scythed through the opposition line-up as he finished with a figures of 4 for 9 from a spell of seven over.
