Mohammad Amir pleaded for another chance – Asif Bajwa – Cricket News Update
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Asif-Bajwa-c46467, the childhood mentor of banned Pakistani fast bowler, Mohammad Amir, has revealed that the young fast bowler pleaded for a second chance when he talked to him last time.
The fast bowler is facing a five-year ban from all kinds of professional cricket and has also been jailed to six months by the Crown Prosecution.
Bajwa said that he talked to Amir last week and the youngster was in a very emotional kind of a state and pleaded that everyone in the world deserves a second chance.
Amir’s coach, who runs his own cricket academy in Rawalpindi, claimed that the fast bowler apologized him and promised that he will never do any such act in future. However, Bajwa is very much sure that Amir will be back in international cricket soon because
he has a very strong character.
He said, "My interaction with Amir until Wednesday was very emotional, he sounded helpless and insisted that he wanted one more chance - everyone deserves a second chance. He apologised to me, and I promised him that I'd help him to eventually return to
the game.”
Amir was considered a fast bowling sensation in the world as he formed an exceptional new-ball pairing with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Asif-c1993, who has also been banned and jailed.
Out of the three banned cricketers, Amir is the youngest and has the ability to make a comeback in international cricket. However, it is going to be a huge challenge for the youngster to remove this dark spot off his name, but his coach promises that he
is going to help the youngster, no matter what.
“It's a challenge for me to rebuild his reputation, but I will be doing that. It's a challenge to remove a stigma, as our society is very cruel, but I believe he will be back," said Bajwa.
He further added that Amir has exceptional talent but his inexperience let him down.
He added, “He was a player with extraordinary cricketing skills but he was very naïve.”
Let us hope that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Amir-c76675 learns from his mistake and makes a brilliant comeback to international cricket sooner rather than later, because such talents are not born very often.
