People familiar with Pakistani television are these days flooded by Saain Lodhi, who can be seen doing morning, evening and night shows, apparently the self made Pakistani version of Indian movie star Shahrukh http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khan-c71319 is so popular among certain genders that
every channel is ready to through a buck at him.
However, he now has a serious threat one that might put him out of work as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755’s former pace bowler, Mohammad Amir, is just waiting for his big break in the world of glitz and glamour.
The once, boy wonder, in international cricket is fast gaining popularity among house wives ogling the television screens first thing in the morning.
Let us not jump into conclusions because Amir is only attending morning shows and nothing else. It is not his fault that women are the only viewers of these shows.
Initially, he came to these shows with reservations, however, the after receiving an encouraging response, the player, who does not foresee making an international comeback, has sought this opportunity to venture into hosting his very own morning show.
Apparently, he feels that he can communicate with the masses. According to him, he is in talks with Pakistan’s biggest entertainment channel and would soon be launching the show.
He feels that many cricketers from all over the world accused of fixing, need to be represented in his show. He is a beacon of hope for every player ever accused to fixing a game.
The youngster, who had trouble communicating with girls during his childhood, is now seen fondling some of the top models in the country.
However, he insists that there is no one ‘special’ in his life. And his time spent in fashion shows is only to get his mind off the troubles he faced after being convicted of spot-fixing.
Maintaining his innocence, he insisted that the charges levelled by him were an international conspiracy backed by anti-Pakistan forces.
“I was innocent; I would never sell-out my country for money. The charges levelled against me were fabricated. I was a threat to the non-believers and for that they hatched this heinous scheme to malign me and my country,” said an agitated Amir.
Meanwhile, giving us an insight on his upcoming show, he said, “Morning show host Dr. Shahista is my favourite, she has been very inspirational. Although I will not imitate her, but it is true that it was after watching her that I realized this was what
I needed to do.”
When asked if he needed any permission from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to work as a TV host, he clarified that there was no need for any such permission and he was free to do anything as long as he stayed off the pitch.
He was sceptical about his return in the national team but felt that perhaps it was time to move on and help others through his show.
He insisted that his show would bring a revolution in the country. However, he held back on how he intended to do that.
For now, fans will be waiting for his show, while morning show divas have a tough competition coming ahead.
