Mohammad Amir will not appeal against ICC ban – Cricket News Update
Pakistan fast bowler, Mohammad Amir has decided not to appeal against the five-year ban in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), imposed by the ICC for spot-fixing, during a Test match between Pakistan and England in 2010.
"Amir told the ICC earlier this week through his lawyer that he would not be appealing against his five-year ban," said an ICC spokesman.
Amir could have appealed against the ban in CAS in Switzerland, but according to legal experts, the offender has lost the possibility after pleading guilty in London in 2011.

and cricket related activities governed by the ICC and its members
The teenager, with his other two teammates, were also found guilty of corruption and receiving illegal money and were sentenced 6, 30 and 12 months imprisonment respectively by the British court.
Amir, however, because of his good behaviour, was released after serving half of six-month imprisonment from Portland Young Offenders Institution in Dorset last month and returned home on last Sunday with his lawyer, while the other two are still serving
their sentence.
At the trial, judge Justice Cook, said “Amir was unsophisticated, uneducated and impressionable and readily leant on by others."
