Mohammad Ashraful gets a surprise A+ Bangladesh contract
Despite being out of the Bangladesh side in the recently concluded series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754, Mohammad Ashraful has been given the A+ contract. This is the highest level cricket contract in Bangladesh
and he joins five others in the list. Apart from the six, there are 10 others who have been afforded a Bangladesh cricket contract.
Ashraful’s place in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 side is no longer fixed these days and his performances have been anything but consistent. He failed to make it to the squad against England at home before being a part
of the team when Bangladesh went to England. He featured in the Asia Cup in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 before being axed and then recalled as a batting cover for injuries. He did not make it to the squad for the series against New Zealand.
Ashraful, who had scored a century on his Test match debut is said to be one of the most talented batsmen in the country. However, his lack of consistency has meant that he does not even average 25 in 163
ODIs that he has played so far and 22.38 in Test matches.
Also getting the A+ contract are http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mushfiqur-Rahim-c2045. Mortaza has also been in and out of the team due to injuries while Shakib has often
been appointed the captain in his absence. Rahim is a wicket-keeper and a solid and dependable batsman in the middle order.
Amongst those getting the A level contracts is number three batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahadat-Hossain-c2480.
Syed Rasel, Raqibul Hasan, Nazmul Hossain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rubel-Hossain-c2378 have been given the Grade B contract, while Shafiul Islam belongs to Grade C.
There are two rookie contracts as well, given to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jahurul-Islam-c1624, Mohammad Sohrawordi.
