The source further said that players should not feel worried as most clauses in the contract are same as it was in the previous one.
Pakistan players came in a disagreement with the PCB, after the board announced its central contracts for the year 2012-13. As per the contract, every player was to get an increment of 25 percent in their monthly salary. There was also 10 percent increase in the match fees that every player gets.
However, for some players the hike was not sufficient and they demanded the PCB for a raise and refused to sign the contracts. The cricket’s governing body in Pakistan did not change its stance and seeing their demands getting rejected from PCB, Hafeez and co. decided to sign the contracts.
Nonetheless, some senior members of Pakistan team including the likes of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Younis-Khan-c98325 have asked PCB for more time as they want their legal advisors to review it before they seal the deal with the board.
According to Tafazzul Rizvi, PCB's legal advisor, players are given about 15 days to sign the contracts, which would mean June 10 is to be the final day.
