Mohammad Hafeez, Pakistan’s T20 skipper, is pleased with his side’s performance in the first of the three-match T20 series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 at Dubai and credited the bowlers for dominating against one of the world’s strongest batting line-ups.
Earlier on the tour, Australia defeated the Green Shirts in the One Day International (ODI) series by a margin of two games to one.
In the presence of great stroke-makers like http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Watson-c2558, Hussey brothers and Cameron White, the Baggy Greens were termed as favourites for the T20 competition as well. However, they were rattled by the Pakistani bowlers, who restricted the
opposition to merely 89 runs, which was easily chased down by the Men in Green.
While talking to a press conference after the match, Hafeez expressed that things went in Pakistan’s favour in the first T20 and was all praise for his bowling attack. The all-rounder hopes that his side will continue to improve as a unit, with the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World
T20 2012 in their sights.
"We were very sure of our plans and today was a day where everybody responded well. The bowlers did the job for Pakistan. They restricted Australia to a total which was really easy for the batsmen to chase," he expressed. "I’m confident in the variety in
our bowling and batting in the T20 format and Insha’Allah this performance will really boost the confidence of the players."

Fielding, which is usually not http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755’s forte, also looked impressive as the players held on to all the chances.
The captain further added that Julian Fountain, the fielding coach, is doing his best to enhance the side’s fielding abilities.
"Everybody is trying hard in the practice sessions. The fielding coach is working really hard with most of the boys on the technical aspects and the players are responding," he added.
The second T20 is going to be played tomorrow at the same venue, with the Kangaroos hungry to make a comeback in the series.
