By winning this match, Pakistan has levelled the series 1-1. The ongoing ODI series started on Saturday January 22 in Willington. The Kiwis played aggressively and beat Pakistan by 9 wickets. It was a humiliating defeat for Pakistan.
The second ODI was scheduled to be played on January 26 in Queenstown, but as soon as the match started, rain began to shower and washed out the match.
The Pakistani players were tense and disgruntled over their deaf in the first ODI of the series and wanted to level the loss at any cost. Today they are feeling much more relaxed after defeating the Kiwis.
