Mohammad Khalil wants to make the most of his chance – Cricket News Update
Mohammad Khalil, the left-arm pacer from Pakistan, has been included in the Pakistani outfit that is currently on tour of Bangladesh. Khalil has been summoned in the side, as pacer http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Junaid-Khan-c77037 tore his abdominal muscle during the
recently concluded series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 and has been ruled out of the excursion.
Khalil will not be making his debut, as the pacer has already played for the Men in Green back in 2005. However, it has been a long time since he last featured for his country and the pacer is hoping to make it count this time
around.
Delighted to be back playing for the Green Shirts, Khalil said, “I’m just so excited at my recall. It's been a long six years since I last played for Pakistan and I'm so pleased to be back in the international reckoning. It was
in my heart to play for my country again as I felt that I have unfinished business to complete.
If I'm given a chance [in the playing XI] I won't let anyone down and I am very keen to impress my team-mates, the coach and the selectors.”
Pakistan team has been in magnificent form lately and they’ll love to overpower Bangladesh in their homes. The Men in Green have been tagged as the favourites to win the trial of strength; however Khalil has advised his team mates
not to underestimate their opponents as they have the capability to cause an upset.
Khalil said, “In international cricket you cannot write anyone off. It would be foolish to underestimate Bangladesh especially in their home conditions. The Bangladeshis are international cricketers and they, like us, take great
pride in their performances.”
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755’s tour of Bangladesh kicks-off with a Twenty20 match which will be played at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur on Tuesday, November 29. The solitary Twenty20 match will be followed by three ODI’s and two Test matches.
