The president of Lahore City Cricket Association, Khawaja Nadeem, confirmed on Wednesday that the veteran Pakistani batsman, Mohammad Yousuf will lead the Lahore Lions in the absence of Abdul http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Razzaq-c84421.
The regular captain of Lahore Lions, the prolific Pakistan all-rounder http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750. If the Foxes proceed to
the main round of the league then Razzaq might not be available to the Lions for the whole tournament.
In the absence of Razzaq, the Lions were searching for a fitting candidate to lead the side and after Yousuf made himself available for the domestic tournament, the management offered him the captaincy role which the veteran has already accepted.
"Yousuf has been appointed captain and he has confirmed his availability,” Khawaja Nadeem told the media reporters on Wednesday. “Razzaq is busy with the Champions League T20 matches in India so he might not play in the national T20 event. That is why we
have decided to change the captain," he added further.
Many are taking the latest proceeding as Mohammad Yousuf’s step towards making a comeback into the national team.

He played 90 Tests and 288 One Day Internationals for Pakistan, compiling 7530 and 9720 runs in each format respectively. The veteran averages 52.29 in the Test cricket and could have been quite helpful for Pakistan had politics not ruined his career in
the past two years.
