Mohammad Yousuf to play domestic cricket after Eid – Cricket News Update

The 38-year-old cricketer from Lahore last represented his country in November, 2010, during the series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE). Since then, the stylish middle-order batsman has been out of contention, with
the selectors not happy with his fitness.
Yousuf did not even take part in the previous domestic season, which hampered his chances of returning to the highest stage of the game. The record-breaking batsman however, started practicing once again earlier this year under the
guidance of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Davenell-Frederick-Whatmore-c52571, but was clearly asked by the selectors to prove his form and fitness in first-class cricket.
The great cricketer has not played in the on-going President’s Trophy till date but revealed that he will take part in the event after Eid, which will be celebrated on October 27th, 2012, in the country.
The Lahore-born player used to represent Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755’s national cricket previously. However, it remains to be seen that which domestic team he plays for in the current season.

is not looking too far ahead and just wants to concentrate on doing well in domestic cricket.
"For now, I'm concentrating on doing well in domestic cricket in order to impress the selectors. As far as doing well in international cricket in concerned, only time would tell," the former Pakistan captain said.
