Mohane Rebel looks solid in Sittingbourne Standard - Heat 1
Mohane Rebel is in winning mood these days and looks the one to beat in the opening heat of Sittingbourne Standard, taking place at Sittingbourne on Sunday, July 1st. In his last three trial outings, the black dog was quite impressive in terms of speed and stamina.
After a decent break, D. Brabon’s charge returned to action with a fascinating performance in late May. He dominated the proceedings all the way through to register an easy victory over Brer Badger. After showing his class over 480 metres, the dashing hound stepped down to the short-distance races and continued the good work.
Premier Fantasy’s son did a wonderful job in his previous two appearances over 265 metres. His early pace has served him well in the past and if he succeeds in getting an early advantage today, it will be a very difficult trip for the rest of the pack.
The punters don’t have much time to stake their money, as the action is about to get underway. The 480 metres open race will be kicked off at 18:20 (GMT). In pursue of a handsome cash prize worth £100, Mohane Rebel is set to compete with five powerful runners including Dilemmas Duke, Kilara Pippa, Sable Blitz, Viking Cheryl and Goodview Ted.
Dilemmas Duke will be a dangerous runner in the favourable conditions. Despite the fact that the black dog is not in winning momentum, his class is hard to ignore. In his recent solo journey over 480 metres, the S. Mavrias-trained stopped the clock in 29.32 seconds and an equally good effort will be enough to earn him success today.
Kilara Pippa broke pretty well in her recent trials. After three wonderful trips, the black b***h is brimming with confidence and can make things for the rivals.
Sable Blitz competes in fair grade at Romford and deserves a lot of respect. He is running at Sittingbourne after a long time and will be under some pressure. The draw looks helpful for Goodview Ted, but still it is an uphill task. Similarly, Viking Cheryl is unlikely to show something special.
Dilemmas Duke is expected to get the highest odds, but our vote goes to Mohane Rebel, who is in tremendous shape at the moment. Good luck to all the runners.
