Mohsin Khan admires Pakistan’s fight back – Cricket News Update
Pakistan cricket team’s head coach, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohsin-Hasan-Khan-c77595, admires the never die attitude of his team in the ongoing Test series against England.
After being bundled out for a mere 99 runs on the first day of the third and final Test match being played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the Men in Green fought their way back into the game by dislodging the top six batters of England for just
104 runs.
Khan spoke highly of the way http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 keep coming back into the game and has not allowed England to run away with things. The interim coach believes that the match still hangs in the balance. He urged his bowlers to take the remaining four wickets quickly
so as to keep the English team’s lead to a minimum.
Hoping that the Pakistani batters bat with more responsibility in the second inning, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khan-c71319 said, “After being dismissed for 99 we were in a difficult position, it was very disappointing, but the manner in which we have fought back by taking six wickets, making
sure that we will fight for the result to come in our favour. Obviously we don't want England to get a big lead, we want to get them out as soon as possible and then bat sensibly in the second innings.”
The skipper of Pakistan, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SCJ-Broad-c2465, made the most of the swinging conditions early on and made life difficult for the Pakistani batsmen.
The two speedsters complimented each other well and shared seven wickets between them, with Broad claiming four for 36 and with Anderson getting three for 35.
Khan, who will be replaced by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Davenell-Frederick-Whatmore-c52571 as the head coach after the conclusion of the England series, gave credit to English bowlers on how they bowled on the surface.
He said, “The pitch was good, no doubt. We know the ball swings early in the morning but we planned to put up a good total and put England under pressure, so credit to them as they bowled well.”
England has a good chance of extending their lead on day-two, as their skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Monty-Panesar-c2024 are to follow.
