Pakistan's acting coach, Mohsin Khan, has stated that he is purely focussing on the upcoming England series, and is not bothered about his coaching career's future.
Mohsin, who is team’s interim coach since the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 challenge in September last year, is interested in taking over as the permanent coach, and for this he has submitted an application to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as well.
However, the former Sri Lankan coach, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Davenell-Frederick-Whatmore-c52571, is likely to be appointed as Pakistan’s head coach after the series against England. After quitting his post as Kolkata Knight Riders’ coach, Whatmore is expected to reach Pakistan to meet the PCB chief,

Paying no heed to the speculations about Whatmore’s appointment, Mohsin said that his only objective at the moment is to guide http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 to win against the world’s top Test team.
“I’m not thinking about my coaching future. I’ve put all my concentration on the upcoming series. My sole target is a good show against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 and I’ll give all my effort to get the best out of the players,” a daily quoted Mohsin, as saying.

Following his brilliant work over the past few months, his name appeared as one of the strongest candidates for the hot seat. And, it will be very tough for the PCB authorities to overlook him if the Men in Green perform well in the forthcoming clash against

Talking about Pakistan’s preparations for the high profile competition, Mohsin disclosed that the side will go for light training sessions in order to save energy for the big battle in UAE.
“We’ve planned a balanced training camp which serves as a refresher, helping the players regain their rhythm. They’ve had a hectic schedule so we want to keep things light ahead of the Test series,” added the former Test cricketer who was working as chief
selector before being promoted to the coaching position.
