"Mental toughness is sometimes the difference between winning and losing in a tight match. Look at the great Australian teams of the past few years; they had a never-say-die attitude and that meant they managed, time and again,
to grab victory from the jaws of defeat,” stressed Mohsin.
The former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Selector added that he has been telling the Pakistani squad about mental toughness as it will help them to become better players, suitable for the highest level of the sport.

"We have a talented bunch of players who have performed well in recent times, have steadily improved and become consistent," Mohsin told Pakpassion.net.

"The results have been good, the team has gelled and look a very useful unit,” asserted Mohsin.
While talking about team’s preparations for the series against Sri Lanka, he said that the training camp during the last few days in Lahore has been good. He further told that other than physical practice, he also guided the players
about the mental aspects of game.
Mohsin was appointed as temporary coach of the team, as the PCB had not finalised a long-term coach.
Pakistan is to play Sri Lanka in a three-match Test series, a five-match One-Day International series and a one-off Twenty20.
