Mohsin Khan, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 Cricket Board’s chief selector has lauded the pacer Aizaz Cheema for his brilliant performance in one-off Test match against Zimbabwe.
"I watched each of his deliveries and he impressed me with his fitness and commitment,” said Mohsin.
 
He also added that his useful performance is the proof of selection committee’s trust in the uncapped but devoted players in the squad.
In the Test match the tourists won by seven wickets, Cheema claimed eight wickets for 103 runs, which is the second best by a Pakistan debutant.
The chief selector also said that though this is not a big achievement for Pakistan team, as the Zimbabwe team does not stand among the top teams, it helped to find a good pacer who could support others.
Pakistan squad for Zimbabwe which included many new players replacing some experienced senior players was immensely criticised by the cricket experts. As many of the former cricketers predicted tough time for Pakistan team against
Zimbabwe in the absence of senior players.

The 32-year-old has featured in 63 first-class matches and claimed 229 wickets at an average of 21.06, including his best bowling figure of 7/24.
His performance in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was the best of his first-class career, where he claimed 57 wickets in eight games. As a result, he became the choice of selectors for the tour of Zimbabwe.
