http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khan-c71319 has rubbished the allegation that he is blackmailing Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to gain the top slot in the team’s coaching department, revealing that the board itself is offering him to accept the assignment on the basis of his capabilities and recent
outstanding performances.

such rumours.
Talking to the media today, Khan said, “I am always ready to serve Pakistan cricket in any capacity. But yes having worked as interim coach with the national team players I feel I can continue doing justice as head coach. That is not true. I know there are
people who are critical about everything I do.”
On one side, he is repudiating his critics while on the on the other hand, he expressed his desire to become the head coach since he thinks he can serve the board better as a head coach.
“I have committed no crime by saying that I would like to continue as head coach. But it is not my decision; it is for the Board to decide. Whatever assignment they offer me, I am ready for the challenge. But I don't think it is a crime for me to have some
job preferences,” stated Mohsin.
Khan, who played 48 Test and 75 ODI matches during his international career, has reminded the PCB of his services which he performed as the Chief Selector, claiming that he has carried the team through severe crises.
In Pakistan, public opinion is split into two groups; one urging the board to bring a new coach, preferably from overseas, while the other backing Khan to retain the slot. Australian cricketer and Sri Lankan coach, to hire him for the post.
