Mojito... i just discovered i like it.. what is it?

Like a bad imitation of a mint julep made with rum instead of whiskey. (That's just my opinion. If you like rum, then its a great alternative.)

It's a decent drink. Just be careful, some bartenders get annoyed at having to make them and water them down with too much club soda. It should have a fair amount of rum in it, with many a mint leaves and a stick of sugar cane.

Powdered sugar is put into the bottom of a glass along with 2 or 3 mint leaves. These get muddled by using a wooden spoon till mixed well. Fill glass with ice. Booze is added(light rum usually) and a splash of club soda. Stir and enjoy.

Wonderful aren't they?! They consist of mint leaves, lime slices, sugar, rum, and club soda.

3 fresh mint sprigs

2 tsp sugar

3 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 1/2 oz light rum

club soda

In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lime juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lime slice and the remaining mint, and serve.
