Molding for braces hurt or no also..

I know EVERYONE has asked this question... but Im quite worried tommorrow im getting molding for braces and Im kinda nervous!!! Im Only going into the 7th grade... First of all I gag pretty easy if I feel something far in the bak of my mouth.. or an unpleasent taste.. how do i prevent gaging? Also Wat will they do... like what does it taste like??? I heard u can get flavors or w/e for this does that help??? Please reply =]]

Ummm does the flavor stuff is it like laughing gas or flavor on the mold that u can taste?

Ummm how long does it take afterwards till u get braces usually? What colors for braces???

It doesn't hurt but believe me you will gag like crazy, I remember I got saliva all over my face when I got these moldings done. Don't try to do any flavors like "chocolate" as that will just make it worse. Just get a basic mint flavor because that should help the gagging. I also it heard that it helps to raise one of your legs as you are gagging as it should tighten your stomach or something

The molding doesn't hurt.

My orthodonist offered different flavors like orange, grape, cherry.. but to me those made it worse so my second molding i just had them do it without the flavoring.

i got my braces a week after my molding... but i could have gotten them done the same day but i didnt have time.

they normally have almost all colors for the rubberbands.

no the mold doesnt hurt.

to prevent gaging and tasting it tell yourself to breathe through your nose!

they have many flavors of mold. usually if you pick a flavor you like it is not as bad as one that smells and tastes bad.

you can taste the flavor of molding but REMEMBER TO BREATHE THROUGH YOUR NOSE.

they take the molding for braces a week before you get them.

the morning before you get them on take a tylenol or advil because after they are on they will hurt and for the next week or two your mouth will be sore. i also suggest getting some soft food.

once you get use to them they arent bad.
