Molly Fish Pregnancies?

Question

I bought a female molly and the next day she had babies. I have no male molly in my tank. A month later, she delivered more babies! What is going on with no male molly?

when female fish mate with a male they can store packages of sperm into separate pouches causing them to have more then one birth they can some times store for 6 births hope this helps and good luck with the babies

all pregnant fish don't release all the sperm to form into babies  at once they store it  inside them for up to 6 months so they will have fry every month mine do it hope this helps u out and good luck

She obviously had gotten pregnant before you took her home from the petstore. They do not seperate the males from the females in the Petstores except for guppies in which the male guppies are more highly purchased over the females because of the colors.
