Molly Renshaw pockets Women’s 200m breaststroke gold – 2013 British International
Molly Renshaw of Derventio pocketed the gold medal of the Women’s 200m breaststroke on opening day of the 2013 British International in Leeds, UK, on Friday, March 8.
Renshaw remained considerably ahead of her closest swimmer from the start and cruised her way towards the finishing end for the gold medal. She did not face any trouble from her closest swimmer throughout the race and cruised her way towards the finishing

Taylor was traced by Georgina Evans of Co Liverpool, who was 0.65 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and posted an effort of 2 minutes and 32.58 seconds for fifth place.
Sixth position of the event was obtained by Abbie Wood of Derventio, who was half a body length slower and clocked a time of 2 minutes and 33.11 seconds.
Seventh fastest spot of the event was obtained by Kathryn Johnstone of Edinburgh University, who remained 0.48 seconds slower from her former finisher and ended her race in a time of 2 minutes and 33.59 seconds.
Last position of the event was secured by Danielle Lowe of Middlesborough, who was 1.15 seconds behind and finished her race in eighth place with the timing of 2 minutes and 34.71 seconds.
Furthermore, Molly received massive appreciation from the audience after her notable pace and collected accolades at the victory ceremony of the tournament.
