Is it the U.S. only that's requiring a passport to enter or is Canada requiring it, too? Would my Mom have to go to Canada and get a Canadian Passport?

  1. It does not hurt to have a Passport and as a Canadian citizen, your Mom can get a Canadian Passport right here in the US by contacting the Canadian Embassy or Consulate. Now a days it is best to have as many identity documents as possible.

Although she may not need a Passport to enter Canada, she may need one to re-enter the US along with her Green Card.

  2. As a Canadian citizen, your mother can go to Canada anytime she feels like it. She can go everyday for breakfast, if she wants. No passport required either by air or by land because she is a Canadian and she has a green card.

All she needs to re-enter the U.S. is her green card after a short trip to Canada.

  3. eh it might be kinda hard to get in with out a us document to get in canada no they really dont enforce it that much just have her bring her canadian docs to the border when i went there they just asked me my name if i was a canadian citizen and for the docs

  4. Nope

    It's only US.
