Mom is getting on my case?!?! ?

Question

ok so my mom watched a show today about emo kids n shuff and now she keeps asking me if I'm emo and asking me all these stupid questions.... its like "no mom I'm not emo. emo isn't anything its a kind of music" and shes like "well you dress like the kids on tv and your hair is like them and you have those piercings" I'm not emo no no no. I'm not anything. I'm considered "scene" at school so i guess,,, how can i explain the difference between scene and emo? she is serious;y getting on my nerves and well i got pissed off and shes like "see, your even getting mad like the kids on tv!" and I'm like "mom!! so if anyone gets mad they are emo or what??!?" and that shut her up a bit... so yeahh can someone tell me how to explain to my mom the difference? geez!

*also dont come to with with stupid bullcrap cause im not in the mood and i will do something to you. i relly need the help.

Is your mom approachable in a serious manner? Try explaining to her the difference between scene and emo. I LOVE SCENE BTW HOT S**t LOLZ. Anyways what I was saying umm, just try and tell her the difference, and you want her to stop provoking you. Thats the best advice I can give :) good luck
