ME and my mom got in a huge argument overs martial arts?
I have studied a mixed martial arts stystem thats teaches aspects of jujistu ,akido, judo.boxing, kung fu,kendo, arnis, capoeria and tae kwon do. But every since the sensie that orignally taught me left to start his on dojo this dojo has become sloppy and horrible run. Im 13 years old and im training with 4 and 5 year old. IM still learning the same old thing im testing for my yellow belt next week i should get it with no problem. My mom is upset i am a yellow belt after two years i really dont care about belts. I am mad because i am training with lil kids 4 and 5 years old and the dojo is horribly cramp. Anyways since we are moving my mom found a karate dojo in the area. I observed one class my mom thinks they are so good because they have 6 year old black belts. BUt those six year old blacks belts can barley do basic kicks and have never been hit before in thier life. I want to get into mixed martial arts some day

and my mom talked to the karate sensie. She told him i did jujistu recently and karate when i was a baby . I dont really remember doing karate as a baby but she has pictures. Any ways the instructor said that they do a little bit of jujistu to. I told my mom that karate is a weak art and is the most unpracticle martial arts system. Then she said to stop bashing other martial arts. I told her before i want to do martial arts for sport not self sefense. BUt i guess she had no idea what i was talking about because she was thinking about sighning me up for basketball untill i told her just sign me up for martial arts. My mom honestly dosent know anything about martial arts and at the dojo she signed me up for they have about 9 , 6 year old blacks belts. Thier is a boxing gym 15 minutes away from the karate center . I told my mom i wanted to do boxing and she said the instructor could make me a black belt in a year since i already have martial arts training. I told my mom i wanted to do
