Does anyone know where the other Stanley Steemer is located in Utah? I know there is one near the Salt lake City area but I believe there is another one in the Southwest area. Supposedly a short drive to Vegas.Does anyone know what city it's in? My husband works at the Stanley Steemer in Pittsburgh, PA and we might be trasferring to the one in Southwest Utah but IDK the city. I need to look up information on houses/apartments in that area.

Also, if you have any other information on the ecomony there I'd appreciate it (like gas prices, cost of a gallon of milk...etc..)

Thank you in advance...

  1. I am in Utah, and right now, the economy from town-to-town is VERY different.  In Northeast Utah (about 3 hours from SLC), the rent and house prices are sky-high.  But in Salt Lake City and Provo, prices are resonable.

A gallon of milk is about... $2.50?  I'm not sure about the price of gas, but I would be happy to drive around and get more details for you - and I could call some of my close friends in SLC and ask them for details, too.  Here is my e-mail address:

I should tell you that Utah is a great place to live and raise a family.  Most of the state is kid-oriented - I'm not kidding!  Northern Utah and Southern Utah are VERY different, though.  Southern Utah is a DESERT, and it is BOILING HOT there all the time.  Northern Utah will be much closer to a Pennsylvania climate (I used to live in the east, too!)

P.S.  In case you were wondering, the rent prices sort of depend on where the oilfield is booming.
