Question:

Mommies with Breech babies?

Could you tell when/if your baby went head down after being in breech presentation? Last time I was at the dr he said our baby was breech but has lots of time to turn. I knew he was breech, because most of the kicks were felt way in the pelvis.

Just curious if you could tell by the baby's movements, wether they had flipped or not.

  1. I had a friend who's baby was breech. And they even manually tried to move the baby, but it didn't work. Just remember, you'll have a healthy baby in the end and breech or not, that's the most important thing. So try not to let this bother you.

  2. I could when mine flipped, but he was breech until about 36 weeks or so, so he was not super small.  I was asleep and when he flipped, my entire body jerked.  It woke up both me and my hubby and it hurt a little, but not too bad and the pain went away pretty quickly.

  3. Being that you are only 27 weeks the baby is still pretty small. My little man was breech and he turned head down until 2 weeks before I gave birth and then was laying across my belly (which hurt really bad) and then when I went into labor he was sitting upright. So when the baby gets bigger you will know when he turns (I know you know now but you will be able to tell what part of his body is poking out of your belly)
