Moms, I'm sure at one time or another you've had a weird smell in some room/car...help?

I figured some Mommy along the way has had some funky smell in her car and would know the answer....

My husband took my car to the car wash yesterday and had the guy spray this strawberry scent in it. The stuff is SO STRONG that I can't drive it for longer than 5 minutes without choking! I've tried leaving the windows open and driving it around, but that hasn't really helped.

Any ideas?!!!

I would sprinkle baking soda all over the carpet and then vaccum after a couple of hours. It should neutralize the smell.

Sprinkle fresh unused coffee grounds on the floorboard it will nutralize the smell.

Any car wash scent is gone in 24 hours so they either doubled the dose or you are sensitive to the smell.  Try Febreeze to neutralize the odor in the car.

During the day, just open all of the windows and doors and just let it air out for about an hour. Keep an eye on your car though so no one goes in it or anything.

I'd get some activated charcoal and put it in container that would let air through - and put that in the car.  That should absorb some of the smell.
