  1. Sidewalk chalk, playing in the sprinkler, arts & crafts.  We actually go to the pool and they go to a program a few days a week.  Have you checked your town's recreation program?  They usually have a rec. program for free or very little money.

  2. My mo and dad sign me up for lots of camps with my friends. I go to my grandmas once a week and my dad and I go to the zoo about two times a week. When I am at home I play on the computer,go swimming with my mom at the pool, read, draw, watch tv,have friends over, talk on the phone. I hope this helped and have a safe and fun summer.

  3. going bike riding, take them to the park, take them to the store to pick out some water guns, sidewalk chalk, bubbles. or if you want to keep there mind busy buy some work books for learning or some thing they can build, or plant a garden and let them pick the flowers outs,

  4. take them to amusent parks, visit realtives,go camping, and take them on family outings.

  5. My biggest trick for the summer is a pool pass. I plan to take them daily, if not everyother day. We are moving to a new house a week after school gets out, so that will keep us all busy for a few days. I've gotten some water toys for outside play at the house and my kids love riding their bikes up and down the sidewalk. All 3 kids are in Scouts (each has 1 week of scout camp planned), so I planned to help them work on badge requirements and earn some badges this summer (especially in the middle of the day when its just too hot to be outside). We have family visiting us this summer, and I'm due the 1st of August. So hopefully we'll all be so busy they'll not mope around and say they are bored. Our local library also has a summer reading program (with a booklet of coupons they get when finished). The kids love the reading and using the coupons afterwards.

  6. If you don't have a pool, I suggest a slip n'slide. Any type of water games  that they can play outside. Have a game of Tball, tag, hide and seek. Make them out a treasure map and have them go on a treasure hunt outside or inside. Bake cookies, set up an area for arts or crafts.

  7. -take them to the park

    -watch a movie

    -play tag

    -play sports

    -computer

    -tv

    -fishing

    -camping out

  8. we got busch gardens and water country passes...

  9. for the 7 year have him write a story or make a strapbook from the beginning of the summer to the end let your child play outside at your sight. have him read 2 to 3 books a week and write about them . he will have to turn in that task on saturday morning.

for the 6 year olds the same but have them draw out the story and take pictures of the summer . let them play outside also. have them read 1 to 2 books and have them verbally tell you what happened.

for the 3 year have her practice her name and let her watch NOGGIN (pre-school on t.v.). teach her to clean her room if she has her own let her color/paint.

I hope that this was useful

  10. Put them in to a summer school!! THat is what my little brother is doing! He doesent have too go (he is actually the smartest kid in his class) but some schools do some big cool programs like where he is going they have:

    Music

    Arts & Crafts

    Story Time

    Lunch Time

    Free Time

They go to the park and play

and some days they go swimming!!!

All that for only a cost of 30 dollars!! I think there's more but my ma has the paper on the fridge so try to fing programs like that!! (my lil bro is 4 going into 1st grade)

  11. Trampolines, pools, etc. I also suggest sprinkler, the beach, and one day have it being a "Camp-Out Night". THis is where you set up a tent in your back yard, and camp out. You can make a fire, and everything. This keeps them busy setting it up that day.
