I'd bring it up.  Out in the open.  In front of her.  I'd tell him that I didn't appreciate being hit on.  

I wouldn't be a bit concerned about awkwardness with a guy that would hit on somebody while he was supposedly with my daughter.

Your daughter deserves better.   Heck.  Your worst enemy deserves better.

It would depend on many factors.  A huge factor would be how much earlier it occurred and whether or not he was supposedly involved with my daughter at the time.
