Moms..Can you please help me with this ?

Question

yesterday and today my 5 yr old daughter got raised spots out of nowhere on her hands,legs and stomach ..they looked like clusters of small mosquito bites and within 15 minutes ...they were gone. its freaking me out. what would cause it and what is it..

its not food and it happened at the bank and at our home, was itchy.

i have doc appt for mon.

Don't panic; sure sounds like hives to me!  My kids used to get them a lot.  They can come from foods, or from touching certain things, or from medicine (very common) even from heat or cold.

While its hard to find out exactly what causes them, they aren't serious, especially if they fade so quickly.

Probably an allergic reaction to perhaps something she touched.

2. Mild alergic reaction (probably fabric softner or something she picked up)

My little brother has bad alergies, and his don't go away for a few hours, with alergy meds. I think the kid's fine. seroiusly.

My sister and I get the same thing - for us it is usually a combo of heat and stress.

It could be hives from allergies, detergents, etc. . . try oatmeal baths and Cortizone until Monday.  Good Luck.

could be a heat rash.  or hives.  if they disappeared so quickly, i wouldn't freak out about it.  the doctor will alleviate your fears on monday.  your daughter will be fine.

Could be hives, which may or may not be food related. It's an allergic reaction to something or other. I wouldn't worry since weird things happen all the time.
