Moms please help me.....?

Question

The doctor told me on my last appt that i have hypothyrodism and I need to see a specialist. Do any of you ladies have this? Has it affected your child? Please let me know I am very scared.

I have and its not much to be alarmed about :)

I had it with my son and he is fine. They will monitor you alot more during the pregnancy, and may even start you on medication. bubs will be tested when he/she is born also.

Its on fact quite common, and a lot of people don't even realize they have it.

They say though, its hard to fall pregnnat with over or under active thyroids :)

Try not to stress. The doctors have seen it plenty of times before and know what they are doing.
