What do you do to bring in a little extra money? I am looking for a part time morning job to bring in 150 a week, but can't find any jobs at all advertised for those hours. I need some ideas- if you've got one, what kind of job is it?

  1. your better of with that during when school is in session. and no they dont really advertise those hours but if you go and put in applications, and get an interview you can let them know what hours you would be available. A lot of companies can help work with your schedule. Unless of course your looking for a management position then forget it. I have done a lot of retail, but recently quit due to being pregnant, my husband doesnt feel comfortable with people yelling at his pregnant wife (I was an assistant manager of a shoe store) so right now I do not work at all, I am helping my husband build our website. I would say look into things like selling jewelry, crafts, retail is always looking for people, and restaurants you can do like hosting...good luck

  2. My mom brings in a little extra money each week by being the secretary for the local fire department.  She has to take minutes at their monthly fire department meetings (just 1 a month!!) a she takes care of paying their bills.  She works just a few hours each month and makes $750 a month.

You could also look into watching a few kids during the day for parents who need day care during the morning hours.

  3. I work at a fast lube shop on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I work 8 am-6pm and bring in a lil over 150/week. You don't need too much automotive skill, but it helps make extra money.

  4. how about doing some childcare in the mornings or finding a childcare center where you can go to work mornings?

  5. Well, before I started my business I had loads of different part time and full time jobs...

One of the easiest ways to bring in a little extra cash was getting together all of my old things and having yard sales and selling the more valuable items on eBay. For a while I was even buying yard sale items and passing them along on eBay. It sounds silly, but its a good way to keep the clutter level low and you can realistically bring in that 150 a week. Good luck.

  6. I was thinking about this the other day. My husband is deployed right now but is regularly Active Duty Army, so there isnt a real need for me to work full or part time but I wanted to for my own sanity. I wanted to work at the old skating rink I used to figure skate at. Not much money but a little bit and I get adult convo. Like only the weekends or something would be awesome.

Oh when I worked at Petsmart when I was younger they let this lady with 2 kids work M-F 9am-2pm. Check out there maybe they are usually flexible when people have kids, and it's fun to work around animals too.

  7. I teach CPR and First Aid Courses for the American Red Cross. I usually have two or three classes a month. I also do a little part time work with the Wildwater Rafting Company, as a guide. Its not a lot of money, but it brings in a little cash and I enjoy it. Usually takes about five to six days out of every month

  8. I work per diem at a hospital at the patient information desk.
