I am in love with kids,&& have always wanted my first job to be babysitting.

I am about to turn 15,so I can't get a real real job.

I took a 7hr babysitting class at a hosital last week.

My next step is flyers. What is a mom looking for in a flyer to get a babysitter?

I am a very outgoing creative person so I could entertain a kid very well.

I just don't know what to say on a flyer.

I want a job to raise money for a 1,000 dollar camera, photography is my passion.&& I want to be more independant.

so I am looking for some pretty good pay.Is ATLEAST minumum wage too much to ask?

&& do yu think anyone will have someone random in their town babysit?

I live in a small town btw.

moms please help :)

thanks.

  1. GIRL, I DO BACKGROUND CHECKS; I WOULD HAVE TO SEE YOUR REPORT CARD AND MEET YOUR PARENTS TO SEE WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE WOULD BE TAKING CARE OF MY CHILD. ALSO, I WOULD CONSIDER THE HOUSEHOLD YOU WERE RAISED IN TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY TYPE OF ABUSE OR NEGLIGENCE...BUT THAT'S JUST ME. DEAR OL' DAD, MY KIDS ARE MY LIFE.

  2. If your mother has friends with young children, you should give them a notice!

I think flyers is a good idea,

but some people may take it wrong,

becuase they might think you're a predator.

    I don't believe you are.

You should run an advertisement too,

    and post things on bulletins,

    and let your friends know,

    go around the neighborhood,

    or other neighborhoods,

and ask them if they need a hand!

    P.S.,

    Just say everything you said,

    that you took at course,

    and that you love children,

and they're one of your heart's passions.

    :)

  3. I look for references from people I know and trust.

  4. I  don't think most sitters get paid minimun wage.. you can check out this web site it will say what the going rate is in your area.

  5. When i look for a babysitter, i look to see if he or she has the right medical qualifications. I want to know if my child will be with someone who knows what they are doing in case of emergency. If he or she can handle more than one child at a time than i am all for it : ) gl in your future careers : )

  6. I want a sitter who is CPR certified, has had experience in childcare, is fun, creative and outgoing. I don't want to spend my whole paycheck for a sitter so I want reasonable prices. ask around at what the going rate is for a sitter. I don't think you will get minimum wadge, but maybe close.

  7. By looking at you....you might scare the kids off

  8. i have a 2 1/2 month old what mothers look for is references and cpr training the most

  9. For me, I have a 4 month old. They need to have had previous expirience taking care of kids (maybe a sibling) MUST show caring and love towards the child all the time, not just when babysitting, And CPR and minimum wage isnt too bad. Some people aeound me charge about $25/hour so. Good Luck!
