Monchengladbach striker Marco Reus satisfied with brilliant win against Werder Bremen
Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marco Reus has expressed his satisfaction on the sensational 5-0 win against Werder Bremen in the recent Bundesliga clash. He stated that the club has shown that it is well capable of challenging
for the title after the performance and that the players have proved all the doubters wrong.

Reus claimed that it was an excellent display and that the team showed its class against a good Bremen side. He admitted that they did not start the game well but found the rhythm and went on a goal spree. The striker insisted
that the team fully deserved to win with the 5-0 margin and remained hopeful of a successful season ahead.
“It was a lot of fun, not just for me, but for the whole team. I can't describe how good it feels to celebrate a win like that with the fans. We actually didn't start the game too well, but still got the first goal. Everything
came off for us and we deserved to win by such a high margin,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The 22-year old, however, warned his side against complacency and claimed that the league is very competitive at the moment. He admitted that the side cannot afford any more hiccups in the campaign if they want to stay in the top
four.
“I think we need to keep our feet on the ground. Of course we've got a nice cushion at the moment, but this is a very tight league. Things can change from week to week, so we need to keep working hard to ensure we stay near the
top,” he concluded.
