Monday Night RAW: The Nexus’ Justin Gabriel vs. Randy Orton
All The Nexus members were fighting the matches for their very survival. There was a stipulation on Monday Night RAW that any The Nexus member losing a singles match against a Team WWE member would face banishment from The Nexus. The high-flying South African cyclone Justin Gabriel faced the uphill task to compete against the legendary Hall of Famer, Bret “The Hit Man” Hart. Just when Justin Gabriel was standing in the ring and was waiting for the arrival of Bret Hart, the anonymous General Manager of RAW sent an email.
The anonymous General Manager said that Bret Hart would not be competing tonight. He also said that the replacement of Bret Hart would be the Apex Predator of the WWE, Randy Orton. The crowd cheered heavily as Randy Orton walked into the arena. Randy Orton has become one of the most famous wrestlers in the wrestling world. There was fear in Justin Gabriel’s eyes when he saw the Viper facing off against him.
The match started as Gabriel delivered rapid kicks to Orton’s abdomen. But Randy Orton was not any regular average wrestler. Orton kept receiving the kicks for a moment and then smiled back at Gabriel. The smile was an indication that things were about to get real bad for Justin Gabriel. Randy started his offense as he knocked down Gabriel with a clothesline. The clothesline was followed by a scoop slam to bang Gabriel’s back on the ring floor. Orton then delivered devastating D.D.T. to bang Gabriel’s head in the ring. The viper was preparing himself for a RKO.
Randy Orton was in complete command of the match and it seemed that the fight would finish in a couple of moments. But the current WWE Champion, Sheamus, entered the arena and tried to attack Orton from behind. Randy Orton, who is currently feuding with Sheamus over the WWE Championship, was furious. Randy quickly left the ring to deliver hardcore punches to Sheamus’ face.
Sheamus was not anticipating such quick reaction from Randy Orton as he felt the blows one after another. Randy then delivered a clothesline to throw Sheamus over the boundary wall. Both wrestlers were now fighting in the middle of the crowd which was chanting heavily in Randy Orton’s favour. Meanwhile, the referee started counting to 10 and asked Orton to come back to the ring. However, Orton was more focused on punishing the WWE Champion, Sheamus. The referee counted till 10 and disqualified Orton on his continued absence from the ring. It was a dream victory for Gabriel, who knew that he could never have won if Orton had stayed back in the ring.
Just when Justin Gabriel was raising his hand to signal his victory, Randy Orton came from behind and delivered a devastating RKO. Gabriel was down and out as he felt his face touching the ring floor. Many referees entered the ring to stop Randy Orton from punishing the young wrestler. Randy then went out of the ring to punish Sheamus with a metal folding chair.
It was a sight to watch as Orton delivered various chair shots to the back of Sheamus. The WWE Champion was helplessly lying on the concrete floor. Randy Orton slowly started walking to the exit area of the arena. Many referees and WWE officials were accompanying Randy Orton to stop him from executing any further attacks.
But just when everyone thought that there would be no more carnage, Randy Orton ran back to Sheamus. Randy grabbed Sheamus’ neck and delivered a RKO from h**l on the concrete floor. That was the time when Randy finally exited the arena. Many believe that the RKO on the concrete floor might have given some permanent injury to Sheamus and he might have to vacate the title. However, one thing is sure that Randy Orton will stop at nothing to become the new WWE Champion.
