John Morrison had a scheduled match with the famous Million Dollar Champion Ted DiBiase. Ted DiBiase is famous for his arrogant attitude and his ability to buy the loyalties of other wrestlers. Ted DiBiase is the son of Hall of Famer, Ted DiBiase Sr. who left a huge fund for his son to spend.
On the other hand, John Morrison is loved and admired by wrestling fans. John Morrison is the former Inter – Continental Champion, former World – Tag Team Champion and former ECW Champion. John Morrison has battled and beaten many great wrestlers of WWE on Raw and Smack Down. His greatest accomplishment was to beat the current World Heavy Weight Champion, Rey Mysterio to win the Inter – Continental gold on Friday Night Smack Down. John Morrison was ready to beat the infamous Million Dollar Champion on Monday Night RAW. John Morrison who changed his name from Johnny Nitro was ready to face any kind of challenge.
After the announcement of the match between Ted DiBiase and John Morrison, John entered the ring with his famous electrifying style and received a positive response from the crowd. John Morrison was accompanied by his NXT rookies, the 7 feet tall giant, Eli Cottonwood. John Morrison had a surprise waiting for himself as he waited for his opponent in the ring. Ted DiBiase appeared along side the famous and beautiful Diva, Maryse and said that he is not in the mood to fight tonight, as he preferred to spend his time with the Diva. Ted DiBiase said that he has found a suitable replacement and now the infamous wrestler from Long Island, New York “Zack Ryder’ will fight against John Morrison.
The highest point in the career of Zack Ryder came when he became the WWE Tag Team Champion. Zack Ryder is currently trying to make an impact in the wrestling world by competing in singles wrestling matches. Zack Ryder was accompanied by his NXT rookie, Titus O’ Neil. The match started when Zack Ryder punched the head of John Morrison by distracting his attention. After few moments of submission, John Morrison reversed the momentum of the match after delivering a stylish drop kick to the jaw of Zack Ryder. Both NXT rookies were standing outside the ring and were eagerly learning from the moves of professional wrestlers.
Zack Ryder went for a desperate move and smashed the back of John Morrison on the ring floor. He then went to deliver multiple kicks on the head and abdomen of John Morrison. John Morrison knew that his fame and prestige is at stake, so he tried to counter the rapid attacks from Zack Ryder. John Morrison then quickly got up with an electrifying speed and gave a hard jerk to the neck of Zack Ryder. That move effectively drained Zack Ryder from his energy and gave John Morrison an unlimited opportunity to end the match anytime he wanted.
John Morrison then finished the match by executing his famous wrestling finisher called the Star Ship Pain. In this manoeuvre, John Morrison uses the leverage of the top most rope of the ring and rolls in the air before landing on the abdomen of his opponent. John Morrison executed this move and there was no chance that Zack Ryder could kick out from the cover. Zack Ryder was in acute pain, as the referee counted to three with both his shoulders touching the ring floor.
John Morrison is steadily climbing the ladder of success in the professional wrestling world. Many pundits and critics believe that John Morrison will stop on nothing short than becoming the next WWE champion.
