Money......HELP!!!?

when scholarships ask "why are you applying for this scholarship and y do u think ur a good recipient for this scholarship" and to "decribe yourself" do they want to hear about ur financial need for it?? what are some good things to write about???

  1. Financial need isn't the biggest concern unless the scholarship specifically says so.

    What they want to know is what kind of a person are you. What do you do in your spare time? What clubs you are into. Your hobbies, interests, and any sports you play etc.

    They just want to get a sense of who you are; that they aren't giving an award to someone who is only interested in books/studying, but rather someone who tries to balance everything out.


  2. Write about your plans in whatever field u r seeking to pursue. U don't want 2 give them a sob story they already kno ur broke/don't have enuf funds, but in my experience write about things that u r going to do in ur field, so someday when ur rich & famous that person that gave u a scholarship will c ur accomplishments & what u set out to do in that career was true!!
