Money Making Idea...Thoughts?

I am 14 years old and recently got interested in money. I do 3 Lawns and make $60 a week, but I also do garage sales, so I prolly make in total(after selling stuff and other things) 65-70 dollars a week, but I want more BTW I save 80% of it, I don't spend it like most teens. 1,000 dollars in a 7 month CD, and about to put around 450 into savings.

The Point is:

I saw a 2006 authentic new orleans saints football signed by all of its members on craigslist, and the guy is asking $125, and the local card shop has it for $350. I live in New Orleans, so I am thinking of buying it and going around my WHOLE neighborhood and raffling it, 1 Dollar a ticket. The only question mark is will they trust a kid? And also half of it is going to college. Do you think i CAN MAKE MONEY? It is a middle class neighborhood.

  1. be sure that the signed t-shirt comes with a guarantee of authenticity.  Instead of raffling it to your neighborhood, put it on ebay and auction it off for above $350.00 you'll be surprised how many collectors out there would want this item added to their collection.  And, check out sports memorabilia dealers and ask how much this item would send for in their stores (outside of New Orleans), you might be surprised... and get more for it.  Don't limit yourself geographically, go to bigger cities where folks have more money to spend on items like this one,

  2. Is running a raffel in your city legal.........better find out first..........you could loose your investment.......plus trouble with the police...................check it out..........

  3. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase check this site out, we both could get a free laptop!  http://laptops.freepay.com/?r=44947750

Not scam - my aunt got one

    Thanx!

  4. Listen, kid.  You are already making money!  You're going to be wealthy some day by saving all that money you make yourself, or you're going to invest it in a business that throws cash at you.  Now you get it?  You're going to be interested in making money the rest of your natural life.

Go for it!  The middle class neighborhood folks in this country still have dreams, you know.
