Money Order Receipt?

I filled out a money order today and sent it but forgot to tear off the Receipt. What is the worst that could happen.

The worst that could happen is that who ever you sent it to does not get for whatever reason.You will not be able to track the money order to see who cashes it. If you always send money orders then you really have nothing to worry about. Just call company and ask them to mail you a reciept once they receive the payment

Go to the store you got it from and ask the manager if they can find the reference number.  (they can run a report that will show all money orders printed that day, they can find yours by the dollar amount)  Then if it gets cashed and they say you didn't pay them you can call the money order company and give them the reference # and they can get a copy of the money order that was cashed, which will have been signed by you.
