I know that writing is a STIFF market. So is journalism etc.

My questionis what is the best way to get started after getting an associates degree in it?

How much would I make a year?

Would that be around fifteen to twenty-thousand?

If you want to get into the print media the doors are either daily -- weekly --  bi weekly & monthly

Getting  into a local newspaper front door is a slow process you have to be persistent at knocking at it
