Money and Education?

I have the opportunity to go to a trade school for motorcycles. However the average technician makes only 22k start. They work up to about 40-50 k.

What do you think would be the next step up? I want to work with motorcycles in general, and not as a sales man, advertising or that stuff. I am 18 and need to decide in 4 months so im kinda X.x lol...

  1. Sounds like a good idea, if that is where your passion is. High gas prices might create opportunity.

Don't let the job discontinue your further education, however.

  2. if you like it, do it.

  3. Well it all depends on ur education. Have u completed year 12? If not i would recommend you do, even though you might think it sucks, i know i didnt enjoy it. Or you can go to tafe.

Im doing mechanical engineering at uni and alot of graduates work for car/motorcycle manufactures. The best thing about furthing ur education is that you will earn a whole lot more money, starting 50K+.
