Money aside, what's the best (highest quality) 50" LCD TV on the market?

What's the highest quality LCD TV available today? Sharp? Sony? What model? Looking for the best LCD TV on the market that is at least 50" - 65"

The Samsung.  I have a 52 inch and its as if the people are inside my TV behind the glass

I really like the Sharp and I saw a Phillips I fell in love with.

You said "money aside". The Crystal Portfolio CX-57HD is highly regarded as the best TV in the LCD market. You can check out the website at www.runco.com. Be forewarned, you need to buy these from a specialty electronics store and they have a suggested retail price of around $13,000. The 52" is about $8,000 (hey, you said the money thing :-))

Sony, Samsung and Sharp are the top 3 makers of LCD TVs.  Believe it's in that order as well. Sony #1 Samsung #2 Sharp #3.

A 50' LCD from any of those three should serve you well. Some other good brands can be found but those three are the top ones.

Sony. sony is the best in flat tvs coz of density for the clarity
