So, I just payed, from my own budget. my first college semester. I saved enough thank God. Anyway, I wan to know if Bank of America can help me for college or if I'm better off filling out the FAFSA form? I'm at a community college right now but next year I'm tranfering to Arizona State University. Is there any other source I can use where I can get a good amount of cash (trying to avoid loans and go for the scholarshipc)?

  1. Fill out the FAFSA! Even if you do not qualify for grants, you will get loan offers that are more beneficial than taking a loan out from a bank. A bank loan should be your last and final resort. Also check into scholarships and their deadlines at Arizona State, you may be able to get one through your major department by filling out applications or writing essays. Contact both your community college and ASU's financial aid office to get the best advice regarding paying for your education. Good luck and good for you!

  2. FAFSA is awesome if you can get anything.  You could also try writing scholarship essays.  There are lists of them online.  Good luck, and good for you for paying your way!!!
