  1. You need to exchange it . The best place to change it is at any Post Office . Good rate and no commission .

  2. I think that person might be mistaken, a dollar is near double what a pound is worth so £1 is worht around $1.93 dollars or $1 would be wort about 50pennies , at the moment with the exchange rate being S**T. BUT like they said you do need to exchange your money. =D

  3. You definitely need to exchange the money. The only places where you can use US dollars are stores in the airport. I would recommend using pounds in the airport since they always round up to the nearest dollar.

  4. Lol, no you have to use our money (known as pounds and represented by the '£' sign) regardless of whether or not you're visiting or actually living here.  I don't think I know of anywhere in this country (including my hometown of London) that accepts US dollars.  Think about it - do shops in the US accept British pounds?  Therefore, why would we accepts US dollars?

  5. You can only use Brititsh Pounds. $1 equals 1.93 British Pounds, so thing cost more there. It is easy to change money, try the airport or any bank.
