A grant for what?

I'm going to assume that you mean a grant for a small business since that is where you've posted your question, in that case the answer is no, generally cash grants are not available to small businesses.  The few government grants for businesses available, usually come in the form of tax credits or rebates based on future tax revenues generated by some criteria, for example new jobs created .

There are lots of people out there selling the secrets of obtaining government grants. What you will get in the end is a phone number of government agencies that you could look up in the yellow pages.  They will also be worthless because those agencies don't have grants or the grants are for other purposes.  I KNOW because I work for one of those government agencies that get these calls.

You can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two FREE sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grants. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support your purposes.
